Terms and conditions of sales apply to all Blackpool Magic Convention products purchased including VIP Gold Card Registrations, Gold Card Registrations, Day Registrations with Show Tickets, Day Registrations, Theatre Tickets and Merchandise. This list is not exclusive and may be amended without prior notice.
1. Conditions of attendance.
1.1. By proceeding with the purchase of a registration or theatre ticket you are agreeing to be bound by Blackpool Magic Convention Terms & Conditions.
1.2. Anyone attending a show or the Blackpool Magic Convention, on a day registration or a full registration under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult with a valid registration and or theatre ticket (the same as the Junior registration)
1.3. Theatre ticket only holders will be allowed access to the venue 30 minutes before the start time of your chosen show as stated on the ticket purchased.
1.4. You must have a valid theatre ticket for access to the theatre, this includes one day registrants and full registrants
1.5. Anyone holding a valid registration pass will be allowed back into the venue after the shows to attend any further events.
1.6. You must provide proof of identification if asked to do so by an Official of Blackpool Magic Convention or an official of the venue, failure to do so may result in you being removed from the venue.
1.7. Blackpool Magic Convention reserves the right to refuse admission at any time without prior notice.
1.8. Blackpool Magic Convention accepts no responsibility for loss or damage of personal belongings at any time during or after the convention.
1.9 Holdalls, suitcases and similar bags are not permitted within the venue. Security staff reserve the right to refuse access to anyone carrying such items.
2. Registration and theatre ticket pricing.
2.1. All registration and theatre ticket prices are as shown at time of purchase and are non-negotiable.
2.2. All registrations and theatre tickets are strictly non refundable.
2.3. Blackpool Magic Convention accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen registrations and or theatre tickets.
2.4. Lost or stolen registrations or theatre tickets may be replaced at the discretion of Blackpool Magic Convention. Blackpool Magic Convention reserves the right to charge a replacement fee of £20 per item replaced. Proof of original purchase and a photo ID may be requested prior to agreeing to a replacement.
3. Sale or transfer of registrations.
3.1. VIP Gold Card Registrations, Gold Card Registrations, Day Registrations with Show Tickets, Day Registrations and Theatre Tickets may not be sold or given to third parties under any circumstances without the prior agreement and arrangement with Blackpool Magic Convention.
3.2. If you wish to transfer a registration or theatre ticket, you must do so no later than FOUR weeks before the convention. Email the registration hub registration@blackpoolmagicconvention.com with your request, you will be required to pay an administration charge of £20 for each registration. Upon receipt of the email and payment your registration will be transferred.
3.3. In the event of the unauthorised transfer of a registration or theatre tickets, Blackpool Magic Convention reserves the right to refuse admission to the venue, event and performances. The decision of the Registration Officer to refuse admission is final and non negotiable.
3.4. In the interests of the security of our guests, staff and the venue and its staff, Registration and Ticket holders will be required to wear official Blackpool Magic Convention identifications to gain admission to the Venue and then throughout the Convention. This may include lanyard, event wristband or both. Failure to be wearing the correct identification at all times may result in you being asked to leave the venue. In this instance no refunds will be considered or issued.
4. Code of conduct within the venue.
4.1. Registrants must display a valid registration pass with their own name on it at all times whilst in any part of the venue.
4.2. Disruptive or abusive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. Anyone found behaving in a disruptive or abusive manner may have their registration pass confiscated and be excluded from the remainder of the event, and no refund will be given.
4.5. Anyone engaged in any form of illegal activity within the venue will have their registration pass confiscated and will be excluded from the remainder of the event and may result in exclusion from any future events, no refund will be given.
4.6. Sale of any items within the venue, unless you are a registered dealer, is strictly forbidden, anyone doing so will have their registration pass confiscated and may be excluded from the remainder of the event, no refund will be given.
4.7. Handing out of any form of promotional material is strictly forbidden unless prior consent has been granted by a member of Blackpool Magic Convention Management Team. Anyone found doing so may have their registration pass confiscated and be excluded from the remainder of the event, no refund will be given.
4.8. Whilst unauthorized video, sound recording and or photography is permitted in certain areas and at certain times within the venue it must not disrupt the running of the Blackpool Magic Convention in any way (see 4.2)
5. Convention events.
5.1. Blackpool Magic Convention reserves the right to change any part of the advertised programme of events, without prior notice.
5.2. Please note all venues within the Winter Gardens complex have limited seating capacity, once this is reached no further admissions will be allowed.
5.3. All mobile devices must be on silent or switched off during all shows and lectures.
